HELP! Can i Retrieve old sms messages off Samsung s3??

    I had a message saved as a Draft on my phone i did a factory reset as the phone was gone really slow and sluggish, i didn't back up the phone, and im only after thinking about the message and i need it for next Monday comming!

    i know the data is still somewhere on the phone just the Directory to the data is deleted is there any apps or something i can do to Retrieve it? or can i find the data by connecting the phone to the laptop and lookign at specific foulders?

    i cannot stress enough how much i need this message!! :O

    You shouldn't be able to retrieve it that's the thinking behind doing a full reset, I think you could be out of luck on this one, time for plan B.

    well i just realised i had a Samsung account and found a video how to upload saved messages from a backup.



    unfortunately the messages where backed up in June and this message was created in August and i last added to the message 2 weeks ago.

    It's not. I'm afraid it's gone. Sometimes, if you've just deleted a piece of data, you can recover it, so long as you don't write anything else to the storage. In your case, you deleted it, then wrote an entire operating system to the storage. There is absolutely no chance of recovering it from the phone. Your only possibility is if it's backed up somewhere else, off-phone
