Use this code RXXGGHT to save €20 on your first online order when you spend €60 or more by 25th September. May need to register with new email address if you are not a new online shopping customer?

Anyone know if it works with nappies and baby I formula

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,683 ✭✭✭✭TheDriver

I would assume it does as its based on shop value and not loyalty points

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 301 ✭✭Nicky987

I'd also be interested to know if this works with baby formula... I doubt it tho!

You need to be a first time user, if you have ordered online before you will have to register under a new email, this will then work.
In order to get the twenty euro off you have to add the voucher at the payments stage, there is an option to add vouchers/loyalty points.

Does it work with alcohol? :p

Thanks ShoulderChip for the reply, will definitely give it a try

Anyone try this on an existing account, that has previously been used for online shops, or would we just setup a new account under differing logon?

We got sent out some single use codes there a few months back that gave us €80 off over 3 shops of €60 or more. We happily shopped online to use them but have not really done the online since.

Tell him you no longer want it, it comes off your bill or you are refunded cannot fully remember but yes you can do it

Got my shopping this afternoon and there are a lot of short dated items which is really poor service in my opinion, Quiche dated 14th September and the bread feels stale and looks like it may have been re-bagged. I think I will stick to SuperValu for my on-line shopping from now on.

Also they still advertise 500gram nets of easi-peeler oranges as being 600grams, they have been doing this for several months!

Yes you can. The driver scans it with the PDA thing that you sign, and you get refunded anything you don't want that day. I sent stuff back with no quibble at all.

You are getting the freshest stuff in the store. Fresh Quiche has only a few days anywhere you go, unless it has preservatives in it. Like years ahead of Supervalu for delivery. You should have complained to the number on the sheet. You would have got a refund.

Oh . Sorry . Did not know they were at it also.
    Was there many people collecting?
    Is it any good?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 231 ✭✭willah

Very handy. You don't even have to go into the main car park, the collection booth is straight through the little roundabout. They had a good bit of shopping awaiting collection. Although the chap did try to give me someone else's shopping until I noticed stuff I didn't order.

Miller - It's decent from a bottle to be fair - I'd have got 4 boxes only I decided to vary it 80 bottles for 42quid - can't complain.

Haven't a clue tbh its normally at least 6 months - though its not craft beer so they are good a fair bit past the sell by date - unless your storing them beside a radiator - I've drank some 12 months past the sell by and they were grand ...most don't last that long thoug :P

If its not on the shop floor you may still be charged delivery for the rest of your shop plus miss out on the 20 or 10off deal because you did not check out over 60 euro.

Do you know what stage they charge for the order at?

Ordered on the credit card so can't tell if I've been charged yet.. may just cancel

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,387 ✭✭✭brokenarms

The system charges you for your order as soon as the picking has finished. Which is usually between 6am and 9am on the day of delivery for morning slots. Afternoon slots are picked and charged usually after 9am on the delivery day.

The reason for this is because there may be items out of stock or substituted which the system cant predict when you use the service for choosing groceries. All stores have a target of 98% availability. Which means out of a 150euro shop, you may have one item substituted, or marked out of stock. Its usually items such as that game that are out of stock as the groceries arrive into stores before the picker go out. As fresh as they can be.

You will never be charged for anything you don't have.(unless there was a boo boo. Which is very unlikely.)

If there is a problem with your card, you will get a call before it leave on the van offering you a different form of payment. But never a Cash payment.

The whole system is very state of the art as far as technology goes.

Similar here, he asked if it was first delivery and I said no and he said "oh, cause you only have 1 star up beside your name" !! but didn't seem to care !
