Well, the 11th isn't too far now. Anybody who frequented here in the past year is free to discuss their results, what they're doing on the night etc.

Anyway, what's done is done and I can't change that. I just hope that I do well. I'm going out on the night with a very small couple of friends since the rest aren't going out. I'll pop in again on Wednesday with the all important grades.

I'm having cake and pizza with my family on the night. I can't be asked to be walking around at 8pm, drinking and then being presured to meet some girls, too much effort.

I'm excited to get my results, really interested in what I got! I don't think i'll be able to sleep on Tuesday night in fairness :p.

To be honest Arnie, ya probably wouldn't get them anyways ;). Was in Italy when the tickets were on sale so I have nothing to do on Wednesday. A friend was saying we should go see the One Direction film in our Beatles gear and scream insults at the Directioners :D
My mam ordered me 2 CDs (You Are Here and thefearofmissingout by thenewno2, great albums) and if my results are good I get about €50 worth of books, happy days:)
I'm also going to watch Sharknado with my friend tomorrow night and how's the studying getting on for all 5th years atm? And to the TYs...ya lucky f*ckers!

I'm going to a disco in Cork City on the night and then going back to my friends house where theres a few of us staying :) I usually hate the whole disco thing because I just think it's a packed room full of sweaty teenagers getting off with each other to crappy music but I want to do something with my friends and they all really wanted to go :p I'm more excited about going to my friends house :pac: My love for her family is ridiculous :L

I'm excited for my results but nervous too. I don't think I did my best on my Junior Cert tbh, but like you said, there's nothing you can do now :D

Anyone getting their results at home, I just could not be bothered to go in school at that day, I really want to create an atmosphere among my relations, friends and parents.
Keep them waiting till 6pm, lol, and also keep praying.....
I am looking forward, but not to English, History and Maths
I really hope they brought down the marking schemes for some of the p2 questions, especially the one with the decimal one.

The project maths exam was very easy compared to past papers, so they'll mark it hard, only like the top 10% who scored the highest will get As and so on so on, not everyone can get an A or B, so people will be dropped.

There will probably a slight grade inflation because the department is desperate to prove that Project Maths is the better than traditional Maths.

More interested in the results though tbh.

What are you serious, the past project maths papers were way easier then this years project maths, past papers I would have done them in minutes, but everyone to its own opinion right ?

Depends on your exam papers I guess. I thought that the paper was quite tame mostly in comparison to the other Project Maths ones I did, but I prefer conventional Maths still.

Good luck everyone in their results! You guys were really helpful leading up to the exams so thanks a bunch, hope I helped as well.

Anyone else completely forget how they did in the exams or just me :)? Can't remember anything really!

Anyways, don't do anything TOO stupid on results day (a little stupid is fine though). Have fun guys.

Oh, yeah, and TY is pretty awesome. Working reeeaaaallllyyyy hard *cough* sarcasm *cough*.

YES! :D My school decided to scrap the 'wait till 3 o'clock for the results' idea! Back to 11am!! :D

I think that they should be released first thing in the morning. The anticipation kind of ruins the classes before the results.

I just got an error when posting that. Here's the message that I received:

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I websurfed, weak and weary, Over many a strange and spurious website of 'hot chicks galore', While I clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, And my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour. "'Tis not possible," I muttered, "give me back my cheap hardcore!" -Quoth the server, "404".

It feels like Christmas is this Wednsday ... that's how excited I am, but i'll probably be very upset when I see a load of Bs and not As :(.

Goodluck everyone with the results! I'll repost here when I get me results! :D

Ours are getting them at ten and then being let off before the others come down for small break.
    Best way I think.

I'm sure you will all be fine.
