That was a hilarious episode, Dee gagging has to be one of the funniest things I've seen, and always seems to be woven into the script.
The effect on Dennis was wonderful to watch as well.

    Loved that
    Huell from BB
had the briefest of cameos as Landslide. Love that guy :pac:

Really loved the new episode and it's a credit to the guys that 9 series in the show is still the funniest thing on TV by far. The set up and pay off was pure Sunny and I never thought that an episode centered on Dee could be so damn brilliant. Really excited for the rest of the series as if subsequent episodes are half as good were in for one hell of a great time.

Along with being the funniest thing on TV, it's probably the most re-watchable show as well, I've run through it a few times and still find my sides splitting.

Thought that the set up was excellent but the laughs were thin on the ground. I love Mac and Charlie and Dee and Dennis's scenes were great but it was light on genuine laugh out loud moment.s Still that said, it's far superior to pretty much every other comedy on atm and I cannot wait till next week.

I'm of the same opinion, I didnt find myself laughing much, more appreciating what was happing, particularly at the gun store and the gun show. But nonetheless i look back at it as being a great episode in a great show.

I knew after a minute this was going to be one of their best ever. What a fantastic episode, I spent the whole episode with a huge smile on my face :D

The whole of the "Sudz" scene was executed perfectly :pac: When they're on form they can knock it a mile out of the park!

Charlie's song went down smooth too!

Latest episode was fantastic. Perhaps not all that subtle but hilarious all the same.

    Quality comedy.

That episode busted a nut. :D

I take it the show gets passed up when it comes to awards?

Superb episode. The bit with Dennis and sitting during the meeting had me in stitches.

Yeah it's only been nominated for one emmy and that was a very minor one like best stunt or something.

The episode reminded me of another brilliant desperation satire of it own show. Arrested Development's S.O.B.s

Great ep, loved the part where Dee was glowing like an angel and of course them all easily taken in by Sudz :D

Loved Mac's reaction to Dennis bantering that he'd never had an orgasm. I was laughing so hard I missed him referring to how he had sex with Dennis and Dee's mother, which made Dee's one liner falling flat even funnier.

An early front runner for funniest comedy episode of the season. Laughed all the way through.

    'Get back in your light!'

Charlie's songs were awesome. That and Mac not understanding why he couldn't "jizz":D

Strongest 3 episodes in a row in 3 or 4 seasons! The latest episode is 1 of my all time favourites, just brilliant! :D

Best episode of any comedy in years. Charlie's songs were genius and the spitting was hilarious but that's just of one if a dozen great gags. Really shocked that 9 series in the show is actually getting better.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,602 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

Caught up last night. The awards episode was so good. Watching the Emmys and it really is a joke how they don't even get nominated. They really just have the most unique comedy on TV atm. Things like 30 Rock, Modern Family and Veep can be a bit samey but the Always Sunny crew can make a bad episode be better than 90% of other show's best episodes.

Don't know if I agree it's getting better but episode 3 might be one of my top 10 eps ever, I liked it that much.

Really fun episode but like quite a few of the more recent episodes the set up was great, there were plenty of good jokes but it wasn't exactly laugh out loud funny. The video presentation was the stand out moment and I really wanna see more of Ben and the gang. There was something twistedly brilliant about the bedroom scene and few other shows would go down that route.

    Sean William Scott

Quality. Complete quality. Poor Mac and "Mac Day".

    lmao @ the ending

Best episode of the season yet. "We're gonna grease up these beefacakes" :D

Hope we get to see a Dennis and Charlie days at some point.

It was great.. but they under-used Seann William Scott. He only had about 5 lines for the whole episode.

The set up was brilliant and that final scene was one if the shows funniest. Max's speech was priceless and Frank's first activity for Frank Day was everything that I love about the show. Hard to believe that the show is on its 9th series as the last few episodes have been amongst the shows best.

That was a hilarious episode in particular the Dennis segment.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

That was another fantastic episode. Loved Dennis, hilarious that Dee ended up dead in almost all the other dreams and Frank just scoffing hot dogs was standard :pac:

Was thinking Charlie was very "Up" like and then the balloons appear too. Poor Charlie all he wants is the settle down with the waitress, nawww :)

That was almost too sweet for Sunny! Dennis' fantasy provided a nice balance though :pac:

Not many shows are still this good after 100 episodes.

I thought Mac Day was far superior, this ep was a bit too outlandish, but The Dennis segment was funny:)

22 minutes of perfection. Hard to believe that we're in episode 100 as this weeks was easily one of the best ever and puts pretty much all the new sitcoms to shame. Charlie's story was brilliant and the style was so obviously Pixar that the second we saw it I turned to my girlfriend and said "Mr Fredrickson's ratatouille". It was far too sweet a moment for the show but I liked it and its nice to see how innocent Charlie is.

Mac and Dennis's stories were also brilliant and the fact the Dee died in everyone's was really well done. Really cannot recommend the show enough and it'll be a sad day when there's no more It's Always Sunny.

Quality episode. Loved all the stories (even Dee's). I loved how they really reflected each character's mindset perfectly ...
Mac - Kicks ninja ass, dies and goes to heaven
    Frank - Doesn't give 2 sh*ts about anything
Charlie - This must be how he sees the world on a daily basis
Dennis - Just how totally messed up he is. I particularly enjoyed his reaction to his own dream, somewhere between "awesome" and "that's fcuked up" :)
Dee - Her's was the weakest but I loved the song, "She's beautiful... but not like a bird"

This season really is killing it, just to say it once again.

Frank without hair is certainly a sight to behold

Frank just eating hot dogs while everyone else's (bar Charlie) fantasy involved them being a hero was fantastic.Love the noise he makes when he's eating.

    ''What is a pun?''
