How to keep a crown clean

Last week a crown I had done last year fell out as I was eating, I suspect I may have either been brushing my teeth too hard or flossing incorrectly and it finally became loose and came out

I managed to get an appointment in my dentists who are actually in the UK as I lived there for a few years and still travel regularly, I never thought to bring the Crown with me and that was the first thing my dentist asked me, she done a temporary crown and said she will most likely be able to refit the Crown that came out after she has had a look at it.

Thing is I'm away on holiday end next week and won't be back in the UK until the end of September, I'm wondering what to do with the Crown to keep it clean currently I just have it in some tissue, is there anything I need to do to keep it clean, etc my teeth aren't in great condition and I wanna try save the ones I've left.

    Apologies for long post.

I don't have crowns myself, nor am I a Dentist, but off the top of my head I would think storing it in something like Sterident solution.. the stuff used for sterilizing dentures would suffice?
