A big, big win last night. It almost looked like we had a passing game for a little while, but with that amount of time with the ball, we really should have had more points on the board. Still, things are looking a lot brighter now.

Nothing better than putting the final nail in the 49ers season coffin

NFC blow wide open aswell, Green Bay beaten, We still have the Cardinals to play.

    Still possible for home advantage?

Win the last two and should be there

Cardinals next weekend, with their injuries, fancy I could give QB a go for them.

Their match last Thurs against the Rams (I think), first game in two years without a TD

We're really peaking at the right time. If we can nail home advantage, we'll have a lot of momentum for the play-offs.

Home advantage would be huge for us, and would be amazing for confidence, but I would love nothing more than going to Lambeau for the NFC game and beating the packers and meeting Pats in the Superbowl and winning that.

That would top last season for me.

Seasons building nicely after a 3-3 start

Let's not drop the ball now

    14-3

Looking good. Time to take this conference by the scruff of the neck!

Against a team that effectively didn't have a quarterback this week, but our offence did the job as well. It would have looked better if Hauschka hadn't got the yips.

We need to keep our focus now against the Rams, which I have little doubt we will.

    Weak start tonight

Silly mistakes. Could be nerves -- shouldn't be, but could be. At least the defence are doing their part.

We did it the hard way, again, but job done. Now for a nice break for the players.

Two interceptions in the fourth swung it in the end.

Defence kept us in it, took awhile for offence to click tonight

I'd prefer Carolina, but wouldn't mind the Cowboys being eliminated either. They're a threat.

Carolina game last night was appalling

    Think I'll watch 4th Q in bed

And its Carolina @ Seattle next weekend!

Cant see past Green Bay V Seattle for the NFC

Pretty much the perfect result tonight. On the back of their wild card performances I would much rather Carolina than the Lions, and one of Green Bay or the Cowboys to be eliminated, with the winner hopefully having to work hard for it.

No team over the wildcard weekend put their hand up as a serious threat.

Wont be a surprise to see 1 V 2 seed in both NFC and AFC championship games

Enjoy. Up for the highlights in the morning for me. Unexpectedly stayed up for the Steelers game late late last Saturday and it wrecked me for the week. I'm old :(

    Go Hawks!

AFC no.1 seed on the verge of going out. Let's hope for clean sailing later

Watching Baltimore struggling to keep a lead over New England with 5 mins left.

Seahawks game comes on in about an hour.

NFC Championship game, let's do it!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,969 ✭✭✭✭alchemist33

So it's the Packers. I think we have a better chance against them than the Cowboys, especially with Rodgers hobbling about. Can't wait for next Sunday.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,983 ✭✭✭TheDoctor

Can't wait! Hopefully the Legion of Boom will eat up a hobbling Rodgers

The city of Seattle is getting ore and more tense.

This is the point where Seattle sports teams usually crumble. Yes, last year they didnt. But the historyis still there. Seattle mariners, seattle sonics, and the seahawks in the past. They all Fail at the 11th hour.

SO everyone is expecting and hoping against that as next weekend approaches.

It's a great time to be a 12 in this city. Why did I not buy a season ticket back in '09? I'll have a finger on the trigger for a Superbowl ticket on Sunday. It's only a 24 hour drive to Glendale. Glad the game is on at a decent time for Irish 12s. Fingers crossed. Go Hawks!
