Why am I not losing weight?

I would LOVE some advice from anyone who knows what they are talking about! i'm 5'3" and weigh 10 stone 3 at the moment. I've never been skinny and never will be but i'd like to get to 9 stone 7-10. I am a recurring weight watcher and have no problem in the past losing 2-3 stone, having put it on travelling, having baby, studying etc. i don't have time to go to WW at the moment but am being really good.

I had my 2nd baby just over a year ago and have really struggled to lose this last half stone. i lost 5lbs between easter and summer but can't get any lower.

I've given up all junk food and most carbs. i've even given up cereal which i love! my daily food intake would be something like this:
Breakfast: seeds, oat bran, berries and low fat/fat free yoghurt (can't stomach eggs in the morning!)
Lunch: tuna bean salad/prawns with black bean and sweetcorn salad/wholemeal wrap with parma ham and a tiny bit of mozzarella (have given this up lately to try to cut out more carbs)
Dinner: chicken salad, bolognese with no pasta, omelette, salmon and roast veg etc
Snacks: Wholemeal cracker, almonds, apple, wafer thin turkey

I've gone from doing no exercise to running for about 20-30 mins with a couch to 5k app and have just joined a gym so that i keep it up in the winter.

The only thing i know i'm not doing that would help is drinking more water. i drink 2-3 glasses of water a day and a mini can of diet coke (my only treat!) but i can't drink any more as with just that i'm running to the loo a lot, twice during the night and with two small kids, i literally don't have time to pee any more!

I've had the odd blow out day/weekend and have one bar of chocolate a week but over the summer i'd say i've been really strict 90% of the time.

With all of the above i've lost about 2lbs but even that goes back on if i am bold even for a day. my husband wants me to go to the GP to check if something is wrong as he can see all the effort i'm putting in with zero results.

What am i doing wrong?!!!!!!!

work out the total number of calories you burn in a day, subtract the total calories you eat. The number should be positive.

use a tracker like myfitnesspal to work it out log everything you eat for a week and see how the numbers add up.

As far as drinks go, you only need to stay hydrated. if you are peeing that often then you are too hydrated (or have a medical condition)
There is no set number of glasses of water you must drink each day. You simply need to drink "enough" (Ie clear or pale yellow urine)
Any more and it's a waste

(dont forget a lot of the food you eat contains water)

Stop being bold!

Seriously though, your diet is the main part of your weight loss, not your exercise. Track what you are eating. Its likely that your portions are bigger than you think, or some item of food is worse than you think. Get rid of the low fat stuff, its usually full of sugar to compensate. There's no reason you cant have some chocolate or whatever as long as you have the rest of your diet in shape. In fact, there nothing "bold" about having a chinese etc as long as you consider it with regards to the rest of what you eat.

from my experience of doing low carb diet, you have to be very strict and careful with what you eat at the start. This is in order to get into to the fat burning zone. Once you get into this and remain careful of keeping the carb and sugar (both natural and added sugars) to a low level the results are quick to see. From what you posted there are several items that could be upsetting this balance, to begin with I have highlight some of them below (not being smart but this does not look like a low carb diet):
Breakfast: seeds- to be kept to a small portion, oat bran- check the carb content - very high, berries and low fat/fat free yoghurt - check the carb content most low fat product increase the sugar content.(can't stomach eggs in the morning!)
Lunch: tuna bean salad/prawns with black bean and sweetcorn salad/wholemeal wrap (hgh cab) with parma ham and a tiny bit of mozzarella (have given this up lately to try to cut out more carbs) All the salads unless home made may contain hidden carbs or sugar espically if you get them from a deli counter.
Dinner: chicken salad, bolognese (check jar for carb) with no pasta, omelette, salmon and roast veg (stick to non stachie - try butternut etc.) etc
Snacks: Wholemeal cracker (check carb content), almonds, apple (all natural sugar), wafer thin turkey

Also to me you seem to be confused as to what is and is not allowed on a low carb diet. You should pick you a book on a low carb dieting as if you continue to mix sugars and carbs into your diet you will not see result. I lost over 3 stone following a low carb diet, and my advise is to be very disciplined about this diet if you want it to work (never cheat as it will put you back by days!!!)and it will work.
