Thinly veiled I've been here for two years thread.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,148 ✭✭✭MickFleetwood

They were all enjoyable for a while (at least from the limited amount I've seen) but get tiresome quickly. Atari Jaguar thing is just incredibly unfunny to me.

Facekicker was the best, IMO, if you'd consider him a "craze."

    This.

I think "thinly veiled" was funny at first. Whatever about it just be overused now, but it's even used incorrectly.

Like a recent thread where some troll was talking about having sex with her fella in work and someone said "thinly veiled 'I'm having sex' thread" - eh no, it's not thinly veiled at all.

I liked the fad where boardsies communicated through the medium of classic country music hits.

No Never. ****ing hilarious so it was, every time I read it I imagine something actually being blasted with piss and I giggle everytime.
    I know I'm immature but I can't help myself!

Atari jaguar wasn't a craze, it's part of the furniture at this stage

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Three fiddy is just the most stupidly annoying thing about this site

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

The Trent short stories. Did the writer ever out themselves? The main theory at the time was that it had to be Pighead.

Hilarious posts and unique to AH. Unique to Boards at least.

When 'Peterson's' is added to the poll, I'll tell you. Otherwise, something or other will be my fault.
