Basically I have just got a new macbook air. I am setting it up. This evening I was transfering my photos from a windows computer to iPhoto. I got them on but most of them a duplicated some several times is there anyway to remove all these quickly rather than going through each manually.

Also all the photos were in different albums on my windows pc and when they transferred to iPhotos they are just all together but still each photo has its original album name. whats the best way to put them all in seperate albums. so i can just go into iphotos and select whatever album of photos i want to look at.
Thanks in advance for the help.
