River suir info needed

I'm staying with a friend near Cashel over the weekend, and he has fishing rights to the suir which runs at the back of his land. Can someone advise on what types of fly work best up around here please... and best times although I'm guessing dawn and dusk rises... I'd ask my mate but he doen't even own a rod, neither do…
