Tinned food every day, is it OK?

Sounds strange but I eat a load of tinned food (anything up to 4 tins a day at the moment) and I've started wondering if it's ok?
I see some of the tins have plastic on the inside to keep the tin/metal out, but then I wounder about all the PCB stuff.

Most tinned food has added salt or sugar so check ingredients.
Also the canning process desroys a lot if the vitamins, so you aren't really getting many.

If you are looking for convenience, I would recommend frozen over tinned.

I would imagine it's what's in the tin that counts, rather than just the fact it's tinned, some tinned food must be good for you, beans spring to mind although they're quite high in sugar in some cases.
