Following a 20 year ban, HIV infected dentists& surgeons in the UK are to be allowed to treat patients, whilst under strict monitoring of their medical condition. So far,the response from the general public is "Will I be informed? I wish to have the right to decline treatment from that particular practitioner" Thoughts?

Do dentists have the right to refuse treat HIV infected patients, the risk of infection for patient to dentist is far greater than dentist to patient?
