well are you? do you ever stop, randomly, maybe during a conversation you get too excited about, or any reason and think "jesus i must be mad"???#

are you the girl who walks around singing out loud to herself walking her dog?
do you walk your pet cat?
what things do you do that make you stop afterwards and think "i'm mental"

    You crazy lady!!

You have bought into the crazy people' talk Backwards Man. Percentages go as high as you feel is sufficient to illustrate whatever point you're making. In this case you're a billion percent wrong.

Full blown conversations with myself comfort me, give me a sense of purpose and provide me with mentally stable objective reasoning skills that allow me to perform surgery on myself while swallowing a 20 box of smokes

so from what i gather so far is that everyone is crazy, so nobody is if everyone is, right?

What's wrong with singing out loud to oneself?
I'm not a girl, mind, so if you were simply going for the "all women are insane" angle, and the singing and dog-walking were purely incidental, then I withdraw my objection.

I once decided to go for a walk with the dog. Put the lead on him and then put him in the car and drove off. I was about 2 miles down the road when I realized what I was doing...

    Driving?

No, you're right, everyone is completely bonkers

but if bonkers/mad/mental/crazy is the norm for everyone, surely by not being mad means you are the mad one?!?

clearly i'm mad, but i'm not not mad, so maybe i'm not mad afterall...

Not that silly, you'd hardly expect the dog to drive would you?

My friend once saw a brussel sprout riding a push bike.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

I make myself laugh a fair bit. I'll just be cycling or walking on my own somewhere with my thoughts running away with themselves and something funny will come into my head that'll have me laughing.

I'm not mad but my other personalities are

=(:-) Me? I know who I am. I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude (-:)=

No, but my intention was too walk him. Not put him in the car and drive him. I wasn't thinking

Ah I'm definitely mental. I've done some things that should have me committed, only recently too :o

I'm on tablets now though, they're making me fairly sane :)

I apologise to myself constantly, say if I'm typing on the phone or the puter and I type something wrongly, I'll say "oops sorry", or "**** no, sorry about that".

When my kids say something and one or more of the words remind me of a song, I'll start singing that song. For example, "mum its raining outside, will I take...." And I burst into a quick rendition of "its raining men"; they don't even get to finish their sentence.

Pretty certain these things classifies me as mad :P

I do this all the time. Especially on the bus. People think I'm crazy because I can't hold back my laughter. My mind is one funny cunt.

I've done some pretty mad things when I've been drinking, like I've came home from the pub, accidentally walked into a door and apologized to it... or closed a door too loud and told it to "Shhh"

I think we all have a degree of madness, some of just make more of an effort to hide it.

I hate people that proudly exclaim ''I'm mad!!:) '' These are always the people that aren't a bit mad at all  The father stones of this world. What'll they do next:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Madness is a lot like gravity. All it needs is a little push.

If a conversation is more than two people, I tend to zone out after a while and replay things from earlier in the day over in my head again and try to wonder what would've happened if I'd said or done something different. And then I'll zone back in, nodding all the while, and hope nobody's asked me a question.

Oh my god I thought I was the only one that did that singing thing. I drive the kids mad with it but Id say its fairly normal. Isnt it?

I would get that apologising to yourself thing checked out though :).

I'm typing this with my mickey, it popped out of my straitjacket. But, no, I'm not mad. Ever since I got wi-fi into my padded cell, I've been trying to prove it to the feckers via google messenger. They're not convinced, so I've decided to stop eating my own poo as a last ditch measure - if that doesn't work, I'm going to kill them all.. with my unicorn.

I think I'm mad but then I go online and realise everyone else is, it's comforting.
