Can anyone doing a health course here tell me what the story is on Garda vetting and Health screening? Has anyone sorted theirs out yet or do we wait until we receive a letter from Trinity. Im a bit all over the place

You can print out the garda vetting form and send it off whenever, I did it last week Don't know about the health screening I don't think I need one for pharmacy?...

Hey guys I've just checked my TCD account and I'm able to pay fees and register so you might want to check your accounts too.

Before you pay your fees you must wait and register, an e-mail will be sent out some time later. For example, most of us won't have to pay tuition fees, only the student contribution.

Anyone doing science know if we can log in to the web portal yoke yet? I was under the impression that that was the same as registering and we couldn't do it until we pick modules but someone else I know doing science has logged in, now I'm confused...

I'm doing science and I can log in to the my.tcd.ie portal, but all it really says is that further functionality will be added to the portal account following formal registration. Is that what you're getting?

OH, okay, so logging into the portal and registering are two separate things, thought they were the same and therefore thought we couldn't log in yet XD Haven't tried logging in yet, I assume I'll get the same thing.

I'm not sure, they said that we'd be invited to register so I imagine we'll get a message through the my.tcd portal!
Can we pay our fees any time now?

Before you complete registration so you have til around the 23rd

Did you use your date of birth as the password (in the format DDMONYYYY)?
It explains how to login in the welcome email which included your student ID, I think. Hope that helps

I haven't made up my mind what i want to specialise in the third year but i think i will definitely do biology !!
I didn't do chemistry but i might have to do it so I am kinda scared i will find it hard !!

Yup I'll definitely be doing biology, but I can't choose between chem and physics. I much prefer physics to chem(bit boring imo) but it looks like I'll need it if I want specialise in some area of biology.

Do you need the number?... I don't think i did. I thought the CAO provided that info to the college. Anyway, it's probably the Student Reference Number when dealing with matter outside your SUSI application.

Why does it say that the due date for the payments (Sports charge etc) was yesterday? Anyone else not pay it yet?

The due date for fees is by the 23rd of September. They said either the first of September or the end of registration, whichever is latest, so we don't have to pay right now

For the finance section, it all says due by the 1st, and the full tuition fees are still listed... When will that be sorted?

It's due by 23rd of September! Have you filled in the pre-reg section yet?

You have the option to pay in full by the 23rd, or you can pay €1,335 by the 23rd and €1250 by the 31st of January
