    Hi,

Hope someone can help. I want to buy (at retail price) some stock to resell here in Ireland and wondering how does VAT work?

I am VAT registered and the stock will be to resell.

So basically the stock is $5 and I am buying 20 which is $100. Then shipping is $38 (there shipping which I am happy to use - I think its USPS)

So it will be $138 altogether and I want to get it shipped to my business address. Usually if I buy for personal use i have to pay VAT and DUTY on importing from outside EU. Will I still have to pay this if I am a business?

    Thanks
