Then the demotions came from BRDS crew and if I'm honest I was a bit surprised , as I said in a previous post it didn't bother me but It felt to me like "a bit of a two fingered salute"

I never left/would leave boards, I just changed crew for a while (reasons in chapter 1 ) , and I still consider myself loyal to BRDS even if some might not think so.

I can understand why some got their backs up over demotions, I will set my crew to boards again at some stage, but I get why some might say "well I was there and did my best as a boards crew member , meets , helping players out , glitches, photo shoots etc , that sounded a bit happy (hello sailor) , and that's the thanks you get etc etc . and one or two have completely left BRDS from this action.

So to sum up I think the demotions were a bad idea and in the long run and will/have done more harm than good.

Although I understand the reasons stated.

But one thing everyone has to remember is "it's a fuking game ,chill out" , Don't fall out with people over trivial rubbish.

To be honest kesh and I won't beat around the Bush to say this I think ya hit the nail On the head with the hammer... Let's all marvin Gaye and get it oN and all that let's do crew v crew battles and act normal then if we or any1 decides to return to brds??? Also I think if we do return to brds there should be ample supply of mars bars and my last and only request would be a glitching funny songs thread or funny quotes gta thread as in if phobos says I'm sick a that bolloxks I've him muted etc etc and take that is glitching songs funny poll down cause there really wasn't a chance to vote now was there??? Funny quotes got to do with gta thread here here

In all seriousness, I joined another crew and came back to brds as it was more craic. The crew i joined was more into racing but there were some amount of dicks in it so came back to me dicks but the brds dicks at least have the craic

For anyone interested there is a new feature on the ps4 store that you can now download and play ps2 games like gta vice city and San andreas

Small announcement, I have a few things going on and taking a step back from a couple of things.

1st off, I'm no longer a mod here on the GTA Forum. I told Mr. Boards that the money was just resting in my account but he wouldn't believe me :P

2nd, I think it's time to mix it up with the crew a bit. The point was getting people to play together but it has been going stale for me lately. All hail your new Leader - Master Proco /Kenja. Things might stay the same or we might even see a resurge happen but I think it will be a good change.

I'll still be hopping on now and again and hope to still get invites for when the craic is going but would be good to get a new face to run the crew. Would also be good to have a leader who was over level 100 ffs. This could be a complete disaster and Proco might go all Donald Trump with the power but we'll see.

A big thanks to Zero-Cool for his help modding the forum over the last year or so.

Without him I wouldn't have the word gowl in my everyday vocabulary :pac:




As for the crew side of things, any input is appreciated from all crew members.
Be it crew colours, emblems etc.

But eh, not sure how everyone else feels. But id like to see green white and orange on the emblem again..!

If you look on YouTube there is a way to get nearly any emblem/image as your crew emblem , I've done it and gotten a good few , so have a couple of the other lads,

I think the thing is to keep it fresh , change it to an Irish flag for a couple of weeks and change again if someone wants ,

An emblem shouldn't be set in stone , once it looks good that's all that should matter .

The choices are endless.


Side note : Sorry to see Sheehy go he was an enthusiastic leader he posted a lot of the information on here for updates and the like and anytime he was on we always had a laugh.

Now all Hail Proco aka Kenji as the new leader im sure he'll be excellent in his new role , ( although I would encourage him to get his @ss online more ) anyway congrats!

As crew leader, a note to all members:

A small issue but an issue nonetheless.
It has been brought to my attention that a couple of crew members are acting the eejit lately.

If any crew members are griefing other members & are asked to stop, we expect them to do so.

Misunderstandings can happen but anyone blatantly ignoring messages will be dealt with.

The crew is there so we can help each other & have each others backs when under attack from randomers.

If anyone is having any particular problems with any crew member, PM me.
Obviously we wont kick anyone without some proper proof or other crew members backing up the claim.

Ahoy, I'm on PS4 and looking to see if any others are playing this?

I haven't played since March last year, did 2 or 3 of the Heists (but got a bit annoyed by the going in and out of lobbies).

I like a bit of a laugh, a few drinks, see where the evening goes.
I was on X-Box 360 about 2 years back but moved my profile to the PS4 and played with some really funny guys like Savage_Tyrant
I'm in the BRDS Crew (and also in the Boards 2 crew, dunno what the difference is tbh) for what it's worth.

Have (literally) no idea about ANY of the DLC thats come since GTA Online launched (aside from heists).
I'm level 58 or thereabouts. Probably classifies me as a total scrub/newb :pac:

Anyway, you can add me on PSN (maybe send an accompanying message please - I help run the Boards Destiny group so otherwise I'll just assume you're looking to join that) and I'd be happy to be the guy that does all the thankless s**t..... like Flying a plane or whatever.

Anyway, would like to get back into the game, may need some guidance, I'm not very skilled, I have a tendency to mess about (but I don't grief or wreck missions/heists etc).
I have NO INTEREST In glitching anything (cars, money) whatever, it doesn't appeal to me in the slightest (fwiw)

Every crew need an endless supply of noob inept cannon fodder who haven't even figured out how to throw grenades. Think of me as basically a Floyd or a Wade, as useful as tits on a tree but willing to make up the numbers.

IRL, Old fart who still likes to play the occasional game. I've only had one quick game run-through on Storymode and have no online experience.
Gotta start somewhere.

Managed to scrape the paint off a few cars last night including Blackgators. Sorry.

I'm gonna grind out a few levels and get myself some basic set up while I try to figure out everything new that is happening onscreen. I also need to get rid of the two kids chattering incessantly in Spanish that I seem to be stuck with. I may have randomly joined someones crew or party or whatever...

It will also take me a few days to figure out who is who and what I can ignore so if I've ignored any invites or messages from players on here bear with me for a while.

Notable achievements: I got a sawn off shotgun. Bet that terrifies all o'ya.
