I'd say that was just typed up to get likes on a facebook page. the more "likes" a page has the more valuable it is. Facebook is polluted with that rubbish nonsense. "Hit like and share if you think the person who typed this is scum" And a lot of folks will gladly reply.

Facebook, really the place for plenty of people to make things up, spread them around and think virtual likes actually mean anything atall.... The amount of people re post complete crap, some of it dangerous, without even checking hoax slayer or any of the hundreds of sites wether it is genuine... People who think pressing share makes them socially conscious or productive in society. Mer

Might be a bit harsh, but I purpose that it is the genuine feelings for a larger community percentage than anyone would admit to.

The letter shows the frustration that living with a severe situation involves. Be that special needs, members of other ethnic groups, criminals, normal children vandals and so on.

Special needs children do need special care, where I live we had one walk the streets and for a while all was well and the child actually seemed to be improving and we were all delighted. But one day the child turned violent and they have been confined to their back yard ever since.

It's real in as much as it's a letter published for internet consumption. It is also strangely familiar, I think it pre-dates Government imposed political correctness and may date back twenty years or more.

I'm almost positive I read that in my local paper, way back in a time that time forgot, it has that old style of writing to it.

Just cant see it being genuine, if you replaced "child" with "dog" then the anger and wish to "kill it" would be believable, but I just cant see anyone being that harsh about a disabled child, no mater if they are huge nuisance to the neighbours or not.

This kind of postal bullying has to stop and I demand kneejerk legislation to be hastily drafted to subsequently sit gathering dust. As a mother Joe, I think that the paper manufacturers should be held responsible for this and should implement safeguards to ensure that nothing is ever committed to print that I don't like.

Real or fake, what sort of individual types a letter like this? I'd be worried if the author were my neighbour.
