I'm getting a bit tired of seeing the word "privilege" thrown around as a meme on the internet in order to invalidate someone's opinion without actually responding to the content of what they've said.

Tends to be used in arguments about sexism, minorities, civil rights etc.

I think you should check your privilege before posting something like that.

I think you should check your privilege before posting something like that.

I've already checked it: I'm an Irish lad who isn't a banker, politician, high ranking political advisor, bondholder, EU bureaucrat, golfing buddy of <insert any serving or former minister's name here>, junkie or policeman - as far as privilege goes, I'm pretty much f*cked.

I had to look up glamping. I thought the whole idea of camping was that you wake up covered in centipedes with a mild hangover and a cold. That's not likely to happen in a luxury yourt with zebra skin cushions.

"Thought shower", "the five whys", needing a "group discussion" and similar made-up jargon, particularly when used to complicate such injustices as someone being overcharged by one euro.

Christ, yeah. Similar deal with "pointed" and "goaled" in most Marty Morrisey or Joanne Cantwell reports.

Centre of Excellence when talking about hospitals.

Why can't every hospital just be really good instead of you ***** closing down and robbing services just for a few decent ones?

Comes from the idea of holism, ie talking from your hole.

Maybe you should look up what spirituality means.

All buzzwords are fine with me as they all serve a purpose and became fashionable cause people started using them more and more.

I dislike people using buzzwords out of context and in the most incorrect moments/places.
