Exercise for my dad

    Hi,

My Dad is 60 and was asking me about some strength work for himself. He's fairly active, is a butcher so on his feet and lifts everyday, loves to walk fast and play golf. I've suggested before that he should broaden what he does to prevent injury/decline. I'm just talking about some light yoga stretches and some bodyweight stuff twice a week. I gave him a little set that is the basic level of convict conditioning. Wall pushups, table assisted squats, knee raises (which were a struggle), doorway pulls, and back bridges.

Does anyone have experience with this? I don't want to injure him or put his off just make sure he's strong going into his 60's really. Would anyone have a series of stretches that would be appropriate?

    cheers.
