I am technically cross dominant or mixed handedness whatever you want to call it. But I write with my left hand so I am going with being left handed if that makes sense.

Same for me on the Ironing - My wife won't let me Iron - says it just looks weird with the ironing board all "backwards" as she describes it!!

I remember the day my school ordered in special scissors just for me. While other classmates scambled for their shared scissors I had my own pair, gleaming and new.

I shed a tear that day remembering just how far we had come.

Wow now that's progress. I got whacked and told that I was writing with the devils hand by one particular Christian brother.

I'd give him a good left hander today if I ever bumped into him.

Im left handed, im not good with a scissors but pretty much everything else i can handle as well as a right handed person.
Its not something i ever think about until somebody that doesnt know me sees me write and brings it up, this happens a lot. i dont understand why its such a big deal.

lefty and proud. can write up straight same as a righty, can't actually work out how or why some lefties write hooked style or turn the page slanty, or why on earth are some lefties saying they can't iron.... or is that just their excuse to get out of doing it

taught myself to write righthandedly few years ago - love confusing people when I switch hands midway through a meeting. they know something is different but they just can't work it out
