But it was the rescue workers that got her out.

The priest was the equivalent as the 4 council workers standing around watching 1 man dig a hole

Good ole Padre Pio, he's a great fella for the aul 'I'm fu*ked if i dont get out of here' type situations.

Illinois student Katie Lentz, 19, had been pinned inside her Mercedes for over an hour and was fading fast when she asked her rescuers to pray
A priest appeared and began to offer up a blessing - after which emergency workers delivered Katie from the wreck to hospital
When they turned to thank the priest he had vanished
He has still not been identified five days on and many Catholics are speculating the priest could have been none other than Padre Pio.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2387984/Was-angel-Highway-19-saint-Padre-Pio-Catholics-suggest-priest-whos-dead-35-years-appeared-crash-scene-bless-save-life-teen-victim.html

Personally I would ask that they did something to get me out of the situation.

Someone who was dying saw things that nobody else saw. Yup, must be real, couldnt have been her brain ****ing with her religious mind.

Why Padre Pio of all saints - isn't St Christopher the patron saint of travellers? ( not the mobile home type). Did. He look Luke Padre Pio or is today his saints day, or was he from that area; or what?

I imagine it's why he was so big in Ireland.

The first mistake you made was trying to think logically, this is about a woman seeing a dead person.

I think padre is for motorists anyway

He had to choose between a kid in a 3rd world country that was getting raped and killed and a 19-yeard old driving a Merc in the US. Well, she did ask someone to pray...

Seeing dead people is quite a common experience and a lot believe in guardian angels, what their purpose could be I don't know.

One of her deceased family members came back to help her in this way as an optical/vocal ghost formation and then disappeared back to the other side ;)

What if she had seen Krishna instead? Funny how that never happens: "visions" somehow always seem to fit the "seer's" religion. :o

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

The original article the daily fail lifted this from came up in the xianity forum a few days ago. No mention of angels in that one. The sequence of events was:

Car crashed - emergency services arrived - cutting equipment wasn't up to the job - more fire crew arrived with heavier duty equipment - girl was cut out of the car - the end.

Sometime while this was going on, a priest arrived and spoke to people. After the initial shock of the crash everybody calmed the fcuk down.

The priest probably just walked away and didn't want to hog the limelight. It's hardly frickin' miraculous or anything like it.

I don't want a B Angel, only the best, yeah.

Anyway, the Padre Pio feature is now available as part of OnStar; it is bundled with the Hispanic package. Spanish language, instant miracles and a St Christopher rearview dangler. $39.99 a month.

Werner Herzog helped Joaquin Phoenix out of a car wreck and then vanished.

    Therefore, Herzog is Padre Pio.
