I have two obvious comments before somebody else...

"A snip at half the price"

    or "grabone?????

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,266 ✭✭✭00sully

I think they could have cut the price a bit more tbh :pac:

For some reason I never trust bargain alerts for medical procedures.

I also think of Dr Nick from the simpsons

    This BA is just 'nuts'...

(I don't actually have one, just repeating the Bargain Alerts credo as a joke ;))

i love the "gift one to a friend" option :D

Has he not got parkinsons? Imagine him stuttering towards you with a needle. He'd cauterise more than a tube behind the bag.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,028 ✭✭✭✭ButtersSuki

Get two just to be sure.

Wouldn't you think they would use a better picture that the 'happy family' one to sell this!

Tagline - Get a Vasectomy, nobody wants lovely kids like these one's.
    should be

Well, Ted, I'm very cynical, as you know, and they probably make their money from people buying like this and not using the voucher.

Also, if there is one thing in this world that I wouldn't do, it is hand over a cheapo voucher to somebody about to preform a type of medical procedure on my (ex) baby maker.

I'm surprised there hasn't been a 'this isn't a bargain, I could buy 1000 condoms for that, waste of money' type post yet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,293 ✭✭✭MayoForSam

Money would be well spent it has to be said.

When I got my snip done about 5 years ago, the worst part was the smell of burning flesh as the doctor cauterized my vas deferens (that plus the pain afterwards which was like having got kicked in the you-know-what's extremely hard).

I'm literally shocked no-one has said...

    €195 for a vasectomy? That's a load of boll*cks!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 46,549 ✭✭✭✭muffler

The DIY version is a helluva lot cheaper

Never be minding the successive contractions, a "Grabone vasectomy" means we are officially in recession.

    So I guess it is...

    Half off?

Think I'll send the link to my friend with twins. Would buy one for him but 195 is a bit steep for a joke present.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,927 ✭✭✭paddyp

€195 is still about €500-€600 per hour - nice work if you can get it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 46,549 ✭✭✭✭muffler

You'd be skinned if you had to pay the full price

Sure with the waiting lists you'd have a whole family by the time they get round to doing it!

Know someone that paid €530 for one recently enough so it's not just the price that's been/being cut I guess.

You probably need at least thirteen kids to qualify for a medical card anyway.
