Generally speaking, where is Whey Protein sold?

Purchasing online is not an option in this case.

More specifically, where is whey protein sold in Clare, Galway, Limerick?

Additional information on better brands(etc.) is welcomed. Thanks.

Any health chemist or holland and barret should stock it - way overpriced compared to online stores though. Argos also stock it.

If you are looking in Galway, try the Holland & Barrett. Argos are sold out as of an hour ago :p

    Argos have a big selection.

    As for brands...

Try get one with less carbs in it, whey isolate is good.

No whey protein has an significant carbs in it unless you are buying wpc 60 or less (difficult to get).

Isolate not worth the extra outlay unless you have lactose issues IMO.

Tescos Headford Rd (the smaller shop in the centre that sells Electrical stuff), Elvery's across the road also has a range, Evergreen also had some last time I was in.
Much better prices online though, I found www.iprotein.ie v.good.

Personally I wouldn't go for the isolate. You're paying an extra tenner for what 3g (at most) more protein per scoop and maybe a gram less carbs?

Lol. Yeah whey isn't required if you're getting enough protein through food but it's a very convenient source and is a complete protein source. It's not some magic fairy dust that's gonna get you huge but going off it isn't what increased your muscle size either.

Bumping this thread because I have a renewed interest in purchasing whey or casein protein in Ennis, in Clare.

If you cant buy online can you not give a mate the cash and get them to buy it for you, its a hell of a lot cheaper than the bricks and mortar shops already recommended.
