Looking to get the green band , to use with the Supple Leopard book
    http://www.rogueeurope.eu/rogue-monster-bands.php

Is the link above the best place to get them from ?

Any shop around Dublin selling them ?

The Voodoo Floss Band looks like a nice tool as well but is sold out online , anyone made one using a bike tube like he suggests in the book ?

I'm pretty sure that D8 fitness have the power bands. Can't link it , I'm on the mobile atm.

Given the stockpile of punctured tubes in my possesion I really should have come to this idea alone.

I tip my hat to you sir.

Punctured tubes will rip easier where the puncture is. They are OK for light use. I have a mixture of used ones and new ones. I have them cut the puncture out of them on some, or cut the valve out and just use the long piece that results in.

You can get various thicknesses, e.g. racer ones and mountain bike ones. Some racer ones are really light weight, if it is advertised as puncture resistant it is typically thicker tube.

This place is up north and does free delivery to here. They often have great reductions on certain lines. I got mine after they had a flood and sold them off as damaged stock, some of the valves were slightly corroded which didn't bother me.

You can see 2 similar 10 packs here
    http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ie/en/airwave-dh-mtb-tube-super-value-10-pack/rp-prod78325
    http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ie/en/airwave-mtb-tube-super-value-10-pack/rp-prod78326
    26 x 1.7 - 2.6 Presta (10 Pack )
    26 x 1.7 - 2.6 Schrader (10 Pack )
    26 x 2.1 - 2.6 Presta (10 Pack )
    26 x 2.1 - 2.6 Schrader (10 Pack
The 1.7-2.6 refers to the tube width, so the 2.1-2.6 would be wider. The first link was for downhill mountainbiking
Downhillers demand thicker tubes for the more rock strewn and root infested technical courses. Pinch flats are a common sight at the world cups. Airwave DH tubes are designed to not pinch flat with thicker tube walls.

yes, d8 fitness have the power bands, and some massage balls like lacross balls.

they are on cork street dublin or deliver http://www.d8fitness.ie/

And bike inner tubes are a great substitute for voodoo bands, although not as long.

You can daisy chain tube together linking 2 or more together. Also you can get smaller ones, like BMX tyres, and some mountain bikes have larger wheels 28" diameter rather than 26". Some might want car tubes.

Another method of changing length is to have adjustable webbing straps between the bands, this can be done with just one band too, the strap also allows handles to be used better.

This thread reminded me of this!

voodoo band is 7 foot I think, 72 inches so 3 ish tubes, unless youre wrapping a whole limb (or are a beast with huge pythons) you dont need it. I can do my knee with one inner tube. I use two tubes to wrap one over the knee cap and one under and its perfect.

I would seriously not like to meet the guy who needs a car inner tube, especially if he's in pain.
