I'm currently on a diet and I'm just wondering which would be better a chicken stir fry with veg, beansprouts and a little soy sauce? or a chicken breast veg and 2 small potatoes? would potatoes not be a good idea?

    same,

chicken and veg is chicken and veg no matter how you cook it.

Potatoes are fine as long as you come under your calorie totals for the day.

    just eat them in moderation.

Have you tried using the myfitnesspal app. You could bung in what you intend having and it will tell you total calories and work out your macros for you too
