I'm in the middle of a literature review at the moment and I'm unsure of one thing.

If I'm referencing articles, do I also have to reference the authors that were referenced within the article or just the author of the artice?

    Cheers :o

I think that if you are just making reference to the general article, then you reference the author. However if you are specifically mentioning the work of the other authors, then they need to be referenced. How you do this depends on the type of referencing, eg Harvard, APA or footnotes.

    Hope this helps?
