Daniel Bryan is getting a makeover isn't he?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,641 ✭✭✭andyman

They're planning one. This could go either way. Daniel Bryan will agree to it and become a corporate sell-out (turn heel, or at least attempt to) or he'll just say "NO!"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,013 ✭✭✭✭jaykhunter

Or it'll work out exactly like when SCSA had a "corporate makeover" the night after WM14! : He's go along with, get booed, and finally reveal it was a rouse and whoop someone's ass.

....I can't see Bryan doing that to McMahon...but who knows.

I could imagine Vince insist that Bryan choke him out or breaks his arm.
It'll be like the time that Mankind got the 'Corperate Makeover'.

I remember in TNA Bischoff sent Foley away to get a Corporate Makeover, what was the WWF one like? Was that the tuxedo one...?

Yeah he wore a tux and shaved his beard, which looked really weird with the mask.

"...the W-E has never had a champion..." :pac:

The mistake is just awesome coming out of the man who owns the company.

A minature Mick Foley, Roy Nelson more like but Vince knows nothing about that sort of thing.

is it me or does Vince keep saying "W-E" champion and not WWE

Could of sworn he said it 3 or 4 times. Then finally said it correctly :pac:

Yeah I reckon he said it a few times maybe to cover up his first mistake? Make it seem like he was doing it in purpose

Bringing out Barrett sort of killed the suspense

Rhodes/Sandow has definitely been the most interesting feud on the build up to Summerslam imo.

Fun Raw so far,Axel's push seem's a bit bit forced but I'd genuinely like to see him do well.

This crowd, wow. Much of the show is met with utter silence. Such a come down after the rowdy crowds of recent memory. Even with Cena he had to really work to liven them up.

I doubt Curtis Axel will get over but I really hope he shows us something great.

Yeah I mean Cena wanted them to boo him and the chant was so weak Cena had to explain it to the tv viewers

They chanted the unholy word during his promo too...

Ziggler-Big E is PPV material,Surprised they're giving it to TV.

Never more evident than during the Rhodes and Sandow segment. You could hear a pin drop.

Who says it's a mistake, maybe they're dropping Wrestling from WWE making it World Entertainment W-E ;)

I thought that was quite a good Raw tbh.

Cena and Bryan both cut great promos, that set themselves up as opposite sides of the same coin; Bryan, the wrestler, who loves wrestling and never wants to stop. Cena, the entertainer, who loves WWE and wants to give everything to the fans. I really liked how Cena took Bryan's negatives and turned them into positives, and the two promos made me want to see the match more.

I would have thought Orton's heel turn would have got more reaction as well; we've been waiting for it long enough. It seems as if they are moving Orton towards being Vince's "Chosen One".

Del Rio, as a heel, really needed rid of Ricardo, even if it is a shame we lose the character. The tag division actually seems to be growing a bit stronger, what with some genuine teams and all. Kofi is back, and I liked the new pants. Would love to see him get a bit more of a push. And Cody and Sandow continue to impress me with the time being given to them.

The Brock/Punk segment was good, if not brilliant. I'd have liked to see Axel get a bit more involved to try and gain some of the rub from being in Brock's shadow. The "Paul, say something stupid" line was weird but funny, in a bad way, mind.

But over all, thought it was a decent enough Raw.

was a really good Raw. i especially like the possibility of Kane vs Bray Wyatt in an Inferno match. that would be one hell of a way to give him his first proper WWE match in ages

i liked the Rhodes/Sandow segment but was disappointed with the length of it. more could have happened and when it was over I was like 'was that it?', hopefully much more come Smackdown.

RVD/Del Rio was a good match though was it explained why The Miz was on commentary?

the Divas match would have been good if any other Diva had been in it instead of Layla. good lord without Michelle McCool she is a godawful excuse for a heel. seriously one of the few Divas that actually gets how to play a face and they turn her heel? shocking that she actually won her match but she'll likely be getting buried within the next two weeks

amazing CM Punk/Curtis Axel segment. i've no idea why they decided to push Curtis Axel but they've been doing something right with him so far.

I'm confused by a few things in the Daniel Bryan story. Am I supposed to care about his beard? Was that what made him popular? I thought it was his talent and personality. Is Triple H supposed to be a face? I do not appreciate him sticking his big nose in what should be a fairly straightforward title chase. Is Vince supposed to be a heel? I entirely appreciate his dancing.
