    Hi,

So, a family member's phone had an encounter with a washing machine yesterday morning. It was only in for a moment or two, not a full cycle, but enough damage was done. Anyway, it's been sitting in a bag of rice since. There's still water behind the screen. Fortunately, it's not a smartphone, but I think it's safe to say it's dead loss at this stage unless the rice trick will do something in the next few days - seems unlikely. I'm sure some of you have experienced this sort of thing..
