    Guys can ya please tell me what is the average mix i need to use for hardener + gelcoat and hardener + reisn

    e.g if i were to use 9oz of resin or gelcoat how much hardener would i need to use in mls

    It will depend on what brand you are using some are mixed by weight and some by volume also some epoxy mixes are different I'm using west system 207 and mixing at 3-1 I also use 205 and that mixes at 5-1. It should say on the tin what to mix at or if you use west system buy the pumps and then it's just 1-1 of each.

    can reisin and hardener act as a glue for fibreglass to fibreglass and also waterproof

    Yep no problem you can also mix in microballoons to make it into a filler or add a colour to match your gelcoat.

    Use the resin you might need to thicken it a bit with microballons or the cheep version "wheat flour" works :D also to add strength it might help to put a bit of fiberglass cloth or mesh over the parts you are trying to stick together.

    Have a look through dnme's sticky "A restoration tale" there are lot's of tips on working with resin and fiberglass.
