Well the price has been coming down since the release of the S4. This is the cheapest I ever seen it.

Stock showing now as "Stock expected in 4 days". There were 17 in stock when I ordered.

Yeah the €15 delivery is a pain alright. As above, parcel motel is also an option.

But you have to wait for it to be shipped half way around the world and when it reaches Ireland you are hit with customs. At €15 shipping they are trying to make some profit

I cant say I know for sure, but dont see any reason why not. Maybe someone else can clarify. I just decided to go with the Irish store for the extra €20 or so.

I am speculating that this is either..

a mis-price

or

they had 17 in stock and decided to flog at ultra low price

"due back in stock in 4 days" is probably a standard line, hotukdeals is going nuts for this, there'll be hundreds of orders in very soon

I agree... think there is going to be a lot of people getting "sorry we cannot complete your order" emails from expansys.

The price is exactly in line with the 8gb Samsung GALAXY S III mini so reckon it's a mistake alright - would look like they've either misadvertised the product or misassigned the price...

The tracking order function, linked in the email has changed the phone type to an ativ S, the windows version of the phone. I just sent them an email. HUKD is going crazy over it. The last time, ill ever use this company

Expansys the clowns had messed up after all.

I checked my order status today to find a completely different product there!
A Samsung ATIV or something! WTF!

I then called and they explained that phone (S3 in blue) was not showing on the system anymore, and did I want to go for another colour. So I changed it for black, only to check the order status again and see the price had almost doubled! (ok that was the original price of the black version, but thats not the price I made my order at). But WTF.

So they were going to ship me a phone I didnt order, and when I tried to fix that they try to send me the 'same' phone I had ordered at much higher price than what I had originally ordered at.

I will steer clear of these bunch of idiots in future, and stick with Amazon.

its roughly 327 euro delivered.i think thats a good price for this phone.go on a contract and youll pay at least double that.
and if you can bear the white colour its about 236 delivered.brilliant price.

Yes, even at €347 it is a good price, thought I'd have a though time deciding between this and the Nexus 4 for the same price.

On the one hand the Nexus 4 has a better screen and completely clean, native version of Android which will always be updated to the very latest version of Android from Google. Also double the memory (2gb v 1gb)

On the other hand the s3 has microsd and a replaceable battery. Though choice!

Nexus 4 battery is pretty easily replaced with minimal tools.
Got one for €300 from iBood.
Nexus also gives you native wireless charging + NFC.

I would strongly advise of buying anything off expansys. There are not irish based either.

I bought a phone off them before, but it was delayed for 10 weeks and when they were finally stocked again my credit card was rejected for no reason. then they upped the price on the site by 25%

Like an idiot i bought another phone off them more recently and it was faulty, so expansy dont really so customer service so insisted id be better off dealing with the manufacturer direct, who repaird the phone but it was still faults after that, I d3emanded a refund of expansys but they then are quoting some crap that i should have only dealt with them in the first place sand they could not help at this point and this was my error, after they pretty much refused to process the warrenty/repair

Thanks a mill OP. Received my SGS3 today from Expansys. I had ordered for missus on late Thursday night and then rang them on Saturday morning when my order was pending. The lady changed the status to not processed. The order got processed on Monday and shipped via DHL.
Received today via DHL.

I think I was just lucky. Cheers again.

Yes I did. It was not changed to S Ativ. I cud not believe it when I opened the box.

Appears there was a stock of 17 so you must have been one of the lucky ones

I got an email from them yesterday or day before offering apology and the S3 at a much higher more normal price

One of their managers/supervisors is coming back to me today with their best price for this phone. This is to be based on the best price which the phone is available at, less a percentage discount. Amazon has it at £285 new, Where else could be recommend to get it at as close to the price originally quoted?

Well expansys had the phone at 254 Euros I think, that's what generated the huge interest

Amazon's price is approx 330 euros - as far as I know this is the lowest

go to www.geizhals.at - switch to european and search for the phone

I have and they were a nightmare. Took 3 months,several phone calls to an unlisted french number,a written letter, threats of legal action to get my money back after the product I ordered from them was never delivered.

Other people have had better experiences though. This seems to be sold by Expansys however so you'll probably be dealing with them rather than pix.

Where do you see Samsung S3 for 254€ on Expansys? I only see Samsung S3 MINI which seems to be cheaper on Amazon at the moment (216€).

Been thinking of getting a new phone for a while now so said I give this a go. Paid by papal so if there is any hassle I'll just claim back from them.

€272.09 total is a pretty good price if it ships.

For anyone who just ordered from Pixmania, are you seeing your order progressing?

The strange thing is there is no colour listed for this model.
But if you search for Galaxy SIII you can see other models/colours at higher prices.....
