Thing u can not do without on farm. I find that the pro washer is one thing I could not do without but when I bought it I did not think I would use it that much. Also a forklift for back of tractor mighty handy tool and not too expensive either. So what have u got that makes life easy and does not break the bank.

Madra, good pens, better fences. A lack in any of them and a person won't be in sheep long.

Why not just leave the gap open ;) If they are coming into the yard by themselves they are either hungry or he is piling on ration to them.

would you not be better getting them yourself? for noticing heats etc

Exactly, you would spot a lot going out to the field for them that you wouldn't see in the yard.

Called Batt-latch. We set timer for half hour before milking, cows come at their own pace so less lame. One guy starts milking and when other arrives collects stragglers.
Solar powered and gives no trouble. We would use also to move cows during the day or night.
Have 2 of them would not be without one, however we would manage without one!!!

Tail paint is only an aid to heat detection you still have to watch for other signs.

You must be doing diy ai so, I would have to see them bulling or another sign as the cost of ai is expensive when you don't do diy.

    ah I see

the circuit breaks and the spring springs back and hangs itself nicely, so that it is not trailing along the ground
