Hi folks. Im new to this forum so I guess this is a really common question but Im going to ask anyway sorry.

I used to do a bit of wildlife photography when I was younger with an slr and telephoto zoom lense.

I want to get back into it but want to buy a digital SLR.

Could anyone advise me on what I could get for 300 euro ish.
I dont intend on going professional so I just need something that will do the job and I'm years out of the loop to have any idea on what type of brands are best value.
I think ill be looking for a good used camera as opposed to a poorer new one.

As i said itll be used almost exclusively for wildlife photography so something that will worl well in limited light and take a good zoom lense. Other than that I dont care if it looks like something a lada vomited or if its the size of a brick.

    Thanks for any advice folks.

300 is a very tight budget for a camera plus zoom lens, even second hand.

You might be able to pick up something like an old 450D and 55-200 lens for that money, but it would be a bit of a stretch.

Another 100 will get you a LOT more choice and specifiation .If you can at all hang on and save it. Whatever you do don't buy a bridge camera - very tempting but you'll regret it. Would also reckon a 70-300mm would be a better lens.

Keep a very very close eye on this thread :)
Those who paid for the 300 option recieved a 70-300 zoom lens along with the kit 18-55!
