ok got six acres of land ready to mow at the end of the month or so,
will be selling it off but should i make round silage bales or round hay bales (weather permitting)
which would be the best and which would be the most sought after.
what price could you ask to sell it quick as know there was a huge lot of fodder made in the dry spell there

Hay will be the most profitable if you can get it, have your own way of tedding it and can store it if you cannot sell straight away. You will have less laid out as well. Be aware tedding hay can be as expensive as plastic and wrapping if you are getting someone else to do it get a price.

Bale silage can be stored for 2-3 years if you cannot sell however hay is easier to transport large distances.
