    Hi,

so basically 2 weeks ago I got severely sunburn on my stomach and chest and nearly ended up passing out and going to hopsital. Ever since then i've noticed I seem really bloated? or maybe i've just put on alot of weight and hadn't noticed it so much before until I started paying so much attention to my stomach.

I really dunno how I could put on so much weight so quick and I was hoping it was my bodys way of healing the burn which I don't think it is now ( 2 weeks on ) but either way I want to lose weight.

Bascially i've been drinking too much and eating too much junk food anyway and I want to lose alot of weight. I'm a 20 year old male, the only weighting scales I could find in the house was an electronic one which read : 12:9.6 and i'm quite tall i'm over 6FT.

So i'm determined to lose weight and what I have been doing so far is cutting out all junk foods, eating more fruit, drinking green tea in the morning, drinking litres of water and kinda refusing to eat until i'm starving.
I've also started exercising i'm trying to go jogging everyday, i've done it twice so far.

Any thoughts am I on the right/wrong track?

Refusing to eat until your starving isn't the right way to go about it. You'll just end up binging and eating loads. Fruits have lots of sugars and subsequently calories so you may want to be careful about how much you eat. Do you eat lots of bread and pasta etc? Cutting down on them is a great help to losing a few pounds.

I eat a lot of bread yeah i'm going to try cut back on that, and not so much pasta, I had pasta with tuna today for lunch actually I thought that was a healthy choice?

You really need to start by learning about diet & nutrition, not eating until you're starving is not a good idea especially if you're excising every day. Maybe you just need to tone up and eat healthy, I wouldn't think that you're over weight at 6ft - 12st 9.?

Check out the sticky here, if offers lot's of information to get you started.
