    Hi,

Does anyone know how to reset the failed to communicate error on the CS-250 panels?

I know I done it before, but can't remember what the exact steps were. The alarm is functioning fine, but just the flashing orange LED on the keypad is getting on my nerves.

    Thanks.

You just need to acknowledge the fault. Put in main user code, fail is indicated. Press NO then OK.

Thanks Altor, I tried that already but it doesn't clear it.

I seem to recall something about clearing the numbers for the central stations and disconnecting the phone line.

Which I have all tried, but still no luck.

Is there no longer monitoring on the system?
If you delete the ARC phone numbers & account that might do it. If that doesn't then connect back the phone line & do a test call. After a successful call then delete the numbers.

Are you removing the numbers in engineering, is this a self monitored alarm, have you an active phone line on the system?
