Can anyone tell me the name of this toy. There were two I had as a child one was a spider & the other a fly I think. There were like a glove, you could put your hand inside and an action figure sat on top.

    Any help will be appreciated.

I know the game you are talking about I think. The Spider was made of foam? I can't for the life of remember the name of it though

I'm fairly sure the spider was hard plastic. The "glove" part was a black light Lycra type material attached to the underside of the spider. The spider had a seat on top that the action figure sat on. I can remember from the back of the box there were a few different insect figures.

When I seen the name I got excited thinking that could be it, because this has been popping in and out of my head for the last 5yrs but unfortunately that's not the toy. I do remember that Sectaurs toy for the google image search . The spider I'm talking about was the size of a hand & the action figure was smaller than the spider.

There are hand sized glove based spiders that the sectaurs ride.

See the bottom image on the link below.

    You sure this isn't it?

That is exactly what I was thinking of, thanks a million my brain can rest easy. My Internet connection was so slow earlier that only some of the images from my search loaded. No wonder Sectaurs was familiar to me. From reading that link it reminded me that they used to come with a mini comic book also.

    Thanks SAS

Now to try track down one. 😄
