I have an awesome sun blushed glow. Real California style. I look like a good looking Zac fcuking Effron here.

You would be well Jelly! My grandparents were albinos, poor bastards.

    I'm lush I am.

I am not tanned per se I am still fairly white but have a bit of colour alright not pale at least! :)

If you compare me to someone very tanned I am like i've never been out in the sun but I don't go out for long and stay in the shade as much as possible I try not to burn though I do sometimes so have as much factor and high factor on as possible and out only at certain times of the day. So not golden brown yet rarely have been so just build it up gradually but rather be white than have a tan to be honest no such thing as a safe tan!

I'm like a Terry's Chocolate Orange. My sunburn eventually turned into a tan, and a ginger with a tan is not a good look.

Born with Olive Skin from my family. I only rarely get burnt and I always have a nice skin tone. Too bad for my nieces and nephews though, little ghosts.

I'm half burnt/half freckled. Hopefully the freckles will join up enough to resemble a tan.

I have a slight discolouration on my right arm from sun and driving. Otherwise, not even an extra freckle. I sun proof myself extremely well. Tan has been ruined by howiyas. I much prefer my pale skin

That Spanish/Polish vibe is SO yesterday, apparently the Portuguese/Lithuanian 'look' is de rigueur, sorry carzony but there you go.

I'm an ethnic minority abroad (5% whites here)
Surrounded by dark folk and the girls are attracted to whitey.
So it's total sun-bloc for me.
Is sun-tan still attractive in Ireland?
    Thats so 80's.

I've actually been on the receiving end of racist nackers, obviously being Irish I take a bit of pleasure out of hearing 'spic'(Ohhh noo I've tanned skin the travesty) but imagine your a 17 year old student from Spain and being on the end of it. Not good at all tbh. This was on a packed Dublin Bus as well. Also got it working in Spar one time, two numbskulls came in telling me 'to **** off back to spain'

2 weeks of suntan will in the long term knock about 5 years off your youthful looks.

Spanish students will have no idea what "spic" means.
It's a North American term for Latinos.
    Unheard of in Spain.

Didn't catch a single ray... not even through the window.
I was inside wilting all the time, outside was just impossible. I'm milky white as ever.

I know yeah, but its not the word that matters its the meaning behind it. A black person from Africa might not know the term n***er but it doesn't take away from the scumbaggery of it.

Spanish people are also so racist themselves against Mexicans etc. but not really relevant.

70 odd year old neighbour of my in-laws gets her back crackers out every time there's even a hint of sun, lies out on a lounger on her front lawn, nobody bats an eyelid, we're all used to her now :pac:

I'm tanned..for me. My shoulders are pretty brown and so are my arms. I am usually very very white! Been out in the sun a bit, not a huge amount though. Haven't burned at all this year. I very rarely burn, which is weird considering how white I am :pac:

Out every day and I'm still 50 shades of grey.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,758 ✭✭✭✭TeddyTedson

    This tanned.

edit: The flash actually makes it look less but basically I have a ridiculous looking tan on my face, arms and neck. The rest of me is as white as Christmas. I've been wearing sun cream every day but that doesn't seem to actually stop you tanning. Is there no way to avoid it?
I've no problem getting a tan but this farmers tan business is not a good look :(
