Here is what they got up to on Main Event:

    7-17-2013+9-43-00+PM.jpg

Strong start for them overall after a shaky first week with the Husky chants and poorly thought out steel steps spot.

I really like the entrance, its eery and they grab your attention immediately.

Are they recruiting Kane or out to end his career?

It looks like they're recruiting him. They don't need him in the group at all.

I love their entrance! The song, the lamp, the speed it's all awesome!

The ONE thing that bugs me is the obviously electrical lantern as he makes his way down to the ring. And they show a real flame lantern in the video right before he does so. They could have at least tinted the glass to give off a real flame hue. Lazy production. Absolutely nothing to do with him. Everything he does is amazing.

How long until they stop the "We're here" part?

Cool gimmick. . . Luke harper is the guy i'm lookin forward to breaking out if he gets the chance. . . Sheep mask is genius to, so simple but very effective, i know they are goin for a cape fear thing, but it does remind me of the devils reject's, all we need now is a hot hillbilly female and we are sorted!

as per above a female is needed and I think it would be good to see Paige do it, she has the pale mysterious look that I think will fit in well

While I love the idea of converts in the cult, and unmasked Kane freshens the character up again, I wonder how Kane fits in. There is already 2 giants in the group. Will a third not just make them less special?

If Flair's daughter has a hillbilly-ish accent they should stick her in with the Wyatt's.Don't think Paige would be a good fit with them myself.

A cult leader needs members for the cult. A veteran, especially a face who has been part of a loveable tag team for a year, gives the group a lot of credibility.

That is the way I would look at it too. Especially if he plays 2nd fiddle to Wyatt which I guess he will it makes him seem so much stronger and more powerful that he can control this monster who has been wwe champion.

As for a female they should wait that out bring in too many people to quick and things start going wrong after a month.

Nah,they need a creepy Christina Ricci in Black Snake Moan type female member.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

They dont want to overload it, or it could go the way of the nWo. Leave it as the trio (plus Kane) for a while before they even think about adding any more.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 18,604 Mod ✭✭✭✭DM_7

3MB are truly screwed as heels now though. First the Shield and now the Wyatt Family stepping on them.

Am I the only one that hates the idea of Kane joining them?

Imagine Kane of 10 years ago joining this cult. They really butchered Kane as a character.

Hopefully not. AJ doesnt need to be playing backup to anyone.

Well they were never really anything above the level of comedy trio.

    No

But they were originally in a position that got them screen time, I am sure WWE would have wanted at least one of them to benefit from being in the group long term. Now with two serious three man groups on the go it leaves no room for them at all.

Not that i'm worried about a comedy team getting no screen time, I just like Slater and Drew in particular.

    EDIT:

I am dim, asked earlier if they were recruiting Kane - i obviously didn't pay enough attention to his words on RAW (or main event)

    http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/2013-07-15/bray-wyatts-hidden-message-uncovered-26133018
“They've been lying to you, man. There ain’t no such thing as a hero, not anymore. But you … have become addicted to the illusion of what a hero is. … You think you need someone to pat you on the back.”

“What if I was to tell you that the man who made you is a liar?”

“What if I was to tell you that your own flesh and blood turned his back on you?”

“I will never turn my back on you, and maybe, maybe the answers you seek have been slapping you right in the face.Maybe, just maybe, I — Bray Wyatt, the eater of worlds — have been the answer all along.”

I wouldn't be against them "Wyatting" Kane. He has been changed so many times now it does lose interest but if he lost the red and black changed to a pure leather mask it could be cool. Went back to being weirdo monster Kane.

Would you guys necessarily see Husky pulling the strings or being the main guy(championship wise)?

genuinely i dont see him championship material, just somethin about him that i cant buy as a asskicker. . . He looks more like a manager to be honest

YOU'RE WRONG HE'S THE BEST EVER!! HOW DARE YOU!!! FOLLOW THE BUZZARDS!!!

He is fairly decent in the ring though. Harper is OK as well. Rowan is fairly shoddy though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,182 ✭✭✭ShagNastii

I don't know, I wonder about Bray being top end as well. But I suppose he can definitely go in ring and the championship will look easily fitting if he has two 7 feet demented guard dogs in tow.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 18,604 Mod ✭✭✭✭DM_7

He more than capable in the ring and can play a character so yes he has the potential to hold championships on his own.

Followers are part of his gimmick and the current Wyatt Family only formed after he was injured.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,426 ✭✭✭montyrebel

have to agree he is so much better in the ring now than when he was Husky Harris in Nexus and I can see him fighting for a belt but not the Championshp two, maybe intercontinental

Was thinking last night, the Briscos could be a great addition to the Wyatt family if they were to expand. I know you would ultimately end up with a stable consisting of two tag teams but I'd say they would be a brilliant fit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,004 ✭✭✭Mr.Saturn

Funny, Briscoes seem a better fit for Zeb's lot.

Could this result in the return of one isaac yankem?!

isaac yankem vs. bob holly was this weeks "classic clip of the week"]

    He would fit in:

I have no issue with Kane joining the Wyatts but I would like to see him change his gimmick, not only getting rid of the mask but also the red and black suit he wears..

On a side not Leatherface would have been perfect for this group

Wasn't there a rumour before one of his returns that Kane would be coming back in blue and yellow?

Wyatt's looked terrible in an edited short match:

I like the gimmick even though I slightly prefer Bray Wyatt on his own, but that was an awful match.

The Wyatt Family is one of Triple H’s projects, and word is that they will be receiving a big push in the near future. The Wyatt Family could even take the spot of The Shield in terms of position, and The Shield could take a step down as a result.

With Kharma and Sin Cara not working out as planned (both were Triple H projects), Triple H wants the Wyatt Family to work out in a big way.

Summerslam will be a big 1 for them then because upto now I don't think their arrival has really met the high expectations. Seems inevitable that they are destined to feud with the Shield coming up to Wrestlemania.

Thought Wyatt was great on Smackdown this week, I said it in the Smackdown thread he reminded me of Bane with the delivery of his speech. I liked the way he wanted to fight Kane which is a nice change from many of WWE's heels (excluding Brock of course).

the more I see of him the more I think he is the next Undertaker, where the Gimmick plus the Talent make the perfect 'superstar'. The kind of guy who can grab your attention in everything he does.

    Time for a bump.

How will Bryan fit into the Wyatt Family.

WWE running with the idea that Bryan now has a home. That Bray didn't set out to save Bryan but they ended up finding each other.

    Who is `She', ???

I wonder will they change DB or will it be The Wyatt Family AND their brainwashed trophy. I think if they "hillbilly" Bryan too much it could do him damage in the long run.
