Hi Can anyone recommend a good reliable out board mechanic who works on the northside of Dublin. There are a number of engines involved mostly 4 stroke. These are fixed engines so he/she (I've never come across a female mechanic but I have to be "pc") will need to be able to get to them.

Thanks for the info folks. I'll ring around these companies and see if they have mobile mechanics.

Rodney in FleetMarine provides a mobile service. Top engineer. You can do little better in Dublin.

Can anyone recommend a reliable outboard engine mechanic in Cork that wont want to take my left arm for fixing it please - preferably someone who is not petrified of electrics

You could try Oysterhaven boats http://www.oysterhavenboats.com/ or Cork Marine http://corkmarine.com/home.htm but I can't say they won't take your arm off :) Maybe one of the others will know a local guy.
