I use quite old iPhone 4 version from http://www.wahoofitness.com/, but it fits iPhone 5 too. They have new version which probably fits better.

Tested over about 1500 km, including marathon and 5k race, in all weather conditions (but it can leak a bit in very heavy rain / moisture can get in - no damage to the phone though)

Buttons? ;-) there is one button really, it works fine :D Volume might be tricky until you find it, but the case is quite soft, so no real problems. You use touch screen with no issues.

Just a though but I just bought an ipod shuffle (the tiny little one) to avoid having to have a telephone strapped to my arm. $30 on ebay for a previous generation one.

Clips to the waistband and run the headphone wires through your shirt and you'd never even know its there.

I tried a couple of cheapo ones on eBay, they were rubbish and I got refunded.
I bought this one on Amazon, i think it's very good: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00AYZ1MJY
You can use the touch screen with it.
My phone always feels safe and secure.
