Boards Jersey Colour Change

Right, so I've taken on the joy of orchestrating the latest jersey order, which you can join in here: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056993125

Most of the posters seemed to want some form of change in the jersey, so it would be different to the ones they already have, so we decided on a colour change, which the Boards head office has given us permission for.

Now, just the task of selecting a new colour scheme. This is open for everyone in the forum to vote for, even if you're not in the order (which I hope most of you will be ) as the jerseys are representing the forum.

The lovely flatface has given us some mock designs, and I've set up a poll for people to vote for the colours they would like. You can pick as many as you like, basically vote for any colour scheme you would wear.

A: The current colour scheme


B: The current colour scheme, but with a pink shoulder


C: Blue logo, black base


Lime base, black logo


E: Black base, lime logo


F: Black base, yellow logo


G: Grey base, orange logo


H: Grey base, turquoise logo


I: Grey base, pink logo


J: Pink base, black logo


K: White base, pink logo


L: Black base, red logo


Colour scheme with the most votes is the one we'll be going with. Let the games begin.

I see what you mean, but I think the most important thing is getting a jersey that everyone likes and will wear, otherwise the poll will be very close between options, and people might not like the number one selection and we'll lose out on orders.

Do the jerseys have to have the white part? Could there not be 3 colours with the third colour not being white?

My plan is to close this poll next Monday. I'll then take the top 3 choices and put them in a new thread/poll with 1 vote per person, so you vote for your favourite.

One with the most votes becomes the new colour scheme.

I like both E and C, however the blue looks a little non-distinctive or something you'd get at a sportive.

As a proud wearer of both designs of the Boards.ie gear, when I saw the first post I thought "Ahh no, they're going to ruin the design"

I was pleasantly surprised when I scrolled through the colour changes, some look really good.

However, having said that, it has to be one of the pink versions.

Seeing as we have 3 really strong contenders that are pulling quite a bit away from the rest votes wise, and the vote count is rising fairly slowly at this rate, I might get a mod to close the poll prematurely.

The main contenders seem to all be the black base with either Red, Blue, Lime, or the original design with the Pink.
