Boards.ie FF pay league 13/14

Hi,

After an enjoyable competition last year, I've been asked to run it again for this season.

Entry fee is €20 and there will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, highest weekly score of the season and a monthly prize too.

If interested please drop me a PM for detail. Over 100 entered last year so there is money to be made!

This is a bit like putting €20 on Liverpool to win the league, I'm guaranteed to lose my money. Maybe next year will be my year after I have a full boards season under my belt :pac:

Yeah do at least top 5.

Why not wait until the final entry numbers are known before deciding how many to pay out at the end. Paying the top 10% would usually be reasonable but considering there is already money going out of the prizepool for monthly and highest overall weekly score I would suggest paying the top 5-7%

Silly question Mir.. but what are you calling the league this year?

I like to consider the Boards forum a secret advantage in my other leagues. So if the league was called 'Boards.ie Fantasy Football Money League' I wouldn't join cos other guys would see that.

But if the league was called '200 people who are useless at this game' I'd sign up right away.

I did enter last year btw.

3 X Manager of the Months over the past two season has kept me in profit. And marginly lost out on the top prizes at the end of season for the past two years!

Last year the quality of the league increased greatly - hopefully its sh*te this year
