I know questions about this place must be never ending but I've never been so I thought I'd ask people who are regulars/or go often. Now my question is, what time should I arrive to avoid doormen as I've heard their sometimes rude and accuse people of ''not being gay,'' which is ridiculous. Also how hard/easy is it to get a hookup? I'm not trying to sound skeezy or anything

ha, my only experience of the George so far involved a not very nice doorman!
didnt know they had a reputation for it.
the doormen at the dragon are lovely though and very welcoming.

The lesbian's I know often complain that most of the girls in the George aren't gay and can react very negatively towards advances, it might be worth your while going to lesbian nights if you're looking to 'hook up'.
