Bad ecstasy around the EU.

Just a heads up, I've read a few reports now of MPA and I think MDA being in pills around Europe instead of MDMA. I know I wouldn't be dropping anything back home unless I knew the source was reliable.

MDA wouldn't cause deaths like this. More than likely it's PMA or PMMA.

Because it causes people to underestimate the effects of Heroin, Cocaine and the likes if they're being put on the same level as ecstasy. Classifying ecstasy as Class-A is a political decision rather than a scientific one. There's isn't a hope it's on a par with most of the other Class-A drugs.

These deaths are caused by prohibition, if it was legal they would have been taking medical grade MDMA which is a relatively safe drug

Not into drugs but I'd do coke a lot quicker than I'd do pills, who knows what ****e you're taking with those.

And also, drugs can kill. No great surprise there, you're told that from when you're knee high so I always have to lol at people acting surprised when people do actually die from drugs.

You take that crap then you deal with the consequences IMO, it's nobody else's fault but your own, you can hardly be surprised your drug dealer has lied to you and you can't believe him when he tells you what he's selling.

I remember back in my younger days there were machines in some of the bigger dance clubs for testing your pill. They would take a scraping and give you feedback whether it was ok. Are they still doing this?

Did you know that ecstasy pretty much broke the back of the football hooligan problem in the UK. Once e's hit the UK in around 1989 the violent element within football hooliganism embraced the culture completely and had a great time.

In Holland they used to have a police presence at large raves, they'd test your stuff for you figuring they were never going to stop kids from taking it, at least they could try to stop kids from dying from taking dodgy stuff.

To be fair, cocaine could probably also be made safer with regulation, just not as safe as MDMA could be. It's a matter of where we draw the line really. I think cocaine is a stretch but MDMA could be included.

The problem being discussed here however, is that people think they're buying one thing but are actually being given another potentially lethal substance. You cannot tell me this problem would not be solved or at least helped by legalization and regulation. No matter what your views are on drugs you surely can't argue with this?

One of the major problems with pure cocaine is that people don't know how much they are getting because their stuff is usually cut with something else.

It is possible to overdose on water but people tend to know how much they can drink! Again you have to admit regulation would go a long way to solving this problem
