Hope this is in the right forum, feel free to move it if its not and sorry in advance!

Have some old casio keyboard in my attic that's collecting dust, so I said I'd start playing it, it's only 49 keys but sure I'm only learning so whatever.

I know how to play chords on it and I sort of figured out the jist of playing the chords and melodies, so right now I'm just looking to learn some songs, it might not be the best thing to do but before anyone advices me on learning more theory, this is what I did learning guitar and what I'm comfiest with, so would I really have more difficulty with keyboard learning this way?

And the plan is to eventually get a new keyboard with more keys and a decent sound, what price range am I looking at?

And one last thing any online articles you can link me to would be highly appreciated.
