Hi I've only ever taken two Pre-workouts :

Neurocore by Muscletech- it did give me huge energy and it tasted ok but the crash i got was just depressing so i gave half the tub away.

    The other is
Craze by Drivensports (DS)- This is by far and away unlike anything i have ever felt before the energy and focus it gives you is like something that one could class as illegal. But the problem is it is quite expensive at 40 quid a tub. But all i have ever heard people talk about this product is that it is the best pre workout anyone has ever taken.

I was just wondering what other products other people have tried? and was there a crash off them?

In my honest opinion there is no point in taking a pre workout if it cause a crash afterwards. Thanks

    Water!
Seriously just pre hydrate as in drink plenty of water throughout the day!
Ive tried some of these pre workouts and all they seem to do is make you hotter and sweat more?

I don't always take them i usually just have a coffee if i'm feeling sluggish. I'm just wondering what other supplements people have tried and what they though of them is all

I don't understand when people need to take something to "focus" I don't get it?
Caffeine or vitamins or some bcaa's cool I understand that, but needing something to help you focus just seems strange.

i think coffee is over rated - i feel no different , unless you guys are having 5 cups or something

as for pre-workout - i'm not a fan but i've tried a few in the past few years.

    original no-xplod
unreal stuff - wish it was distilled into some pills for recreational use.

    1 RM
good pre-workout for energy/focus but I crashed after about 1 hour, was 3.30 on a sat afternoon but I felt like it was 5am and i'd been raving all night.
    Never again

    Pharmafreak - pre workout
little kick off it , nothing to get excited about

    reflex - performance matrix
no crash, great intensity - think it's the caffine/taurine mix.
remembered the first timeI took this - was sparring muay thai.
totally zoned in on opponent , eveyrthing else was gone - like my peripheral was just eliminated.
on the basis of that sample I bought a tub but effects diminished over time.
    Wouldn't bother anymore.

I just use water tbh and use your supplement cash from other products of more benefit like protein/fish oil / zma / Vitamins C & D.

I rarely if ever buy pre workouts. As said here, coffee should be enough to get you going. Some time's I'll buy bags of unflavoured arginine and/or beta alanine and throw them in with other drinks pre workout. From the feedback I've been getting lately ROS Nutrition Gun Powder is a good product, they're reformulating it though so I'll have to see what the new version is like. Craze sells loads. As you said, it's expensive. Personally I don't like getting wired going into the gym, I'm just looking for a little kick. Caffeine does fine for me.

On the subject, I'm in work now in Clontarf and there's two samples of N.O. Xplode under the counter. I'm not going to use em, first come first serve.

The pre workout from the protein works Raze isn't too bad. Using it atm.

To be fair though most people remember the old jack3d and compare it to the PWO's now which prob unfairly taints their perception of those products.
