Routine advice?

    I've been doing this routine with my mate for a few weeks and I'm wondering what people think of it. I do be fairly bunched after it and it feels like a great workout. I'm mainly looking to trim a bit of fat, increase strength, and improve general fitness.
    Is there anything I should be adding/substituting in this? Basically, I do as many reps of each exercise as I can within the time limit, with no break in between exercises.

    Skipping - 2 minutes
    Dumbbell squats - 1 minute
    Dumbbell lunges - 1 minute
    Upright rows - 1 minute
    Dumbbell overhead press - 1 minute
    Weighted sit-ups - 1 minute
    Plank - 1 minute
    Jumping jacks - 2 minutes
    Dumbbell flys - 1 minute
    Dumbbell press - 1 minute
    Deadlifts - 2 minutes
    Bicep curls - 1 minute

    2 minute rest. Then repeat circuit once more.

    are your reps increasing from workout to workout?
    how often do you do it?


    definitely missing some burpees in there

    for me its just too much work especially 2 min of deadlift,i could make 2-3 workouts out of all the exercises you have there,

    i like my circuits 2-5min with rest decreasing over a four week cycle(120,90,60,30 sec rest)

    other exercise you could add

    hang power clean and press
    dumbbell swing
    mountain climbers
    jumping lunges
    and more burpees

    Reps are increasing each time. Doing that workout 3 times a week and have only been doing it for the past 2 weeks.
    It takes a little over half an hour to do two laps of the circuit. The second time round is a killer, but I don't think one would be enough.
    I knew burpees would get mentioned! I hate them. They're the devils exercise! I probably should add them somewhere.....maybe instead of the jumping jacks?

    if reps are increasing each workout your doing something right

    but my advice would be to try and make 2 or 3 workouts of all the stuff you have there so you have some variety,and prevent burnout

    also shorter circuits would increase your intensity and also help with your form as you shouldn't be as fatigued,

    workout 1
    4-6 circuits (120-60 sec rest)
    jump rope
    dumbbell swing
    push up
    deadlift
    dumbbell overhead press

    workout 2
    4-6 circuits (120-60 sec rest)
    jumping jacks or burpee
    upright rows
    dumbbell squat
    bench
    plank

    thats just a example but you get the idea,you could do timed exercise as your doing or reps(10-15) each circuit for 3-5 min then rest

    remember to increase weight,reps,timed work or decrease rest as you progress
