    You'd be well suited to the modules on this honours degree. I supervised two projects on this course last year, both students were from non-mechanical/electronic backgrounds, and both did every well.

    Typical projects include:
    • Remote Environmental Monitoring & Control System
    • Design and specification of a tracking linear parabolic reflector on Solar Tube system
    • Automatic detection of diabetic retinopathy
    • A machine vision system to extract blood vessels from retinal images
    • Radio Controlled Assistive Device for Children with Physical Disabilities
    • Remote weather station
    • Development of a portable Androscope
