At least they're out trying to earn a crust, rather than the lazy dole scroungers here who do nothing and even refuse jobs because it's not worth their while

People who don't work sell jam in the city, car to car in conjested streets,
they call it traffic jam, and it sells great

It is just bad elements that are trying to get all Irish citizens to fight against each other and keep us occupied from the real problems we should be dealing with.

There's none in Spain either. You don't work, you don't get dole. The concept of the government giving unlimited welfare to people who have never worked a day in their lives is pretty alien in most cultures. That's not a judgement, BTW, just a fact.

You don't need dole in Italy because the climate is perfect for growing the fruits and berries that go into making jams and marmalades - if you end up with no job you just go into the jamarmalade racket.

Interesting fact: Mafia translates into 'Jam Makers'.

The mafia started over the lemon trade in Italy iirc.

They're made swear a jam oath too. They use a knife to cut a slice bread into a perfect circle, carefully spread the jam, and if the Don is pleased with his sambo you'll be a marmalade guy.

Strawberry jam stinks of 1986. We need to move forward and embrace the future.

It's a bright, promising future full of transparent leadership, free healthcare for all, and pp for everybody.

After all of these threads, I actually had to log out and go in search of jam. Only found marmalade :( but it was better than nothing. I'm never gonna be able to talk about the dole again without craving jam :pac: Damn you all.
