Thats a great site. Its good to see a proper food pyramid, not the ones you normally see in school books.

I always thought rapeseed oil was better than olive oil.

The site also linked to this study in regards creatine intake. I know a lot of people here have commented about how they dissolve it in coffee/tea.
Caffeine counteracts the ergogenic action of muscle creatine loading.

Most foods that are processed or packaged are unhealthy. If you see it on television, it is likely unhealthy. If a package makes a claim it is healthy, it is probably not.
    lol - sooo true :)

    .

I have heard that olive oil becomes a transfat at a much lower temperature compared to rapeseed oil.

Is it possible that its deemed better in terms of irish economy and/or air miles

The smoke point of olive oil is about the same as rapeseed oil, it's just that the fatty acid composition and ratio of omega 3s to omega 6s is much better in olive oil

That is a great site OP!! I'm amazed though that they say to opt for high fat dairy instead of low fat and that saturated fats contribute to significant amounts of weight loss!

So for instance one should get normal yogurts instead of low fat yogurts? Don't they both still have the same amount of sugar though?

No. Fat tastes great. If you remove the fat, it tastes like cardboard, so to make it palatable, you add sugar, among other things. But hey, you will feel great because the label says low-fat, right?

If something says it is healthy, it probably isn't.

Great site-have just started to try cut sugar out of my diet!
Quick question is popcorn that bad, its in foods to avoid? It is my snack of choice at the mo:(
